New Corporate Imagery!

We photograph for a lot of corporate clients here in Charlotte, but usually reserve the blog for new conceptual imagery only. Not today! Here are a few shots from various shoots we’ve done in the past couple of weeks…

The Hickory Museum of Art contacted The Light Factory today about emulating the City Block Project, which Sean created and administers on behalf of The Light Factory, in their town in the near future. We’re excited the project continues to get so much fanfare and participation and would love to see it spread beyond Charlotte, NC.

Sean’s “Monumental Tryon Street photo” project has been featured in the Charlotte Observer today!

Sean's project is featured in the Charlotte Observer.

The article, which is about the re-birth of The Light Factory, features Sean’s group project as a way to bring the photography community in Charlotte back together. The plan is to have 150 photographers line up along Tryon Street to all take a photo at the exact same moment and thus create a massive panoramic image – a first of it’s kind!

In case the Observer link isn’t permanent here is the article as it appeared online:

CGI for The Light Factory

The Light Factory has just launched their Kickstarter campaign to help raise $20,000 to help build their new darkroom, classroom and gallery space in the heart of the Plaza Midwood neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. Check out the campaign and donate here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1541056846/re-light-the-light-factory.

Once The Light Factory hits the 50% mark we plan to send out this CGI image our team created to help visualize that we’re halfway towards our goal. Pretty cool visual, huh?

Rodgers Builders hired us to shoot the opening of the new Knights Stadium in uptown Charlotte last Friday. This video took 2700 photos and 70gb of memory to create – holy cow!

We’ve been having a lot of fun creating time lapses lately, and will be implementing some new technologies into future videos that will really knock some socks off.

CGI for Continental Tire

Continental Tire hired us to create a beautiful see-through truck for some print work they have coming up.

AdvanTech makes a splash!

AdvanTech, a flooring product that withstands the weather very well, needed us to create a CGI splash image with one of their boards. Here’s what we came up with:
